FAQ
What are the electrical requirements?
The base “chop saw” system only requires 110v power to push, print, and run the computerized controls. A special type of servo is used that allows for greater pushing torque while not requiring higher voltage as typically found for this type of application. Customers who purchase an automatic cutting saw will need to provide higher, three-phase power. Three-phase voltage can be 230-240 (30 amp. breaker), and 460-480 (20 amp. breaker). Three-phase power needs to be wired to a fused, safety disconnect between the main source and the EasyFrame Machine in compliance with local electrical codes and laws.
What are the air requirements?
You will need an air compressor with 80 PSI with a connection of 3/8" NPT and 12 CFM’s.
What maintenance is required?
Maintenance is fairly minimal. We take very close consideration when designing our machines to use standard parts that are easy to find replacements for and easy to replace. We also offer annual service plans which can be ideal for customers who do not have any maintenance personnel already.
Where do I buy the ink from?
Ink is purchased from us Here. Our inks are sourced directly from the manufacturer to ensure the proper ink is provided to our customers and we strive to stay competitively priced.
What are the lead times?
Roughly 2 months
Can I buy a basic Chop Saw model and upgrade to an automatic saw later?
Yes. We have built our machine to be very modular in this way making it simple to upgrade and add options.
Can I buy a machine without an auto-loader and add it at a later time?
Yes. We have built our machine to be very modular in this way making it simple to upgrade and add options.
Is there any maintenance to the computer in terms of clearing files, etc.?
No. Our software has a feature that can be turned on to automatically delete old job files after however many days you set it for.
Does it come with a dust collection system?
No, however, we can help with this. We highly recommend using a dust collection system. For chop saw versions we leave it up to the customers to decide what is best for them but can make recommendations. For our larger, automated, up-cut saws we recommend no less than 1900 CFM of dust collection power built for constant, all-day use. Something like the following dust collection system is recommended as it doesn’t send dust through the motor:
